The Edo State Governorship elections commenced, today Saturday, with a reported huge turnout of voters in several elements of the state.
Voting materials arrived early at several polling centres though some areas were said to possess experienced delay within the arrival of materials.
The insistence by the INEC electoral officers that every one voting materials should be in the middle of security personnel was said to possess caused the delay of materials in those areas.
However, Prof. Julius Ihonvbere, former Presidential Adviser and PDP leader who defected to the ACN complained that a polling unit in Onwan West with over 300 registered voters was reduced to a few hundred hoping this anomaly won’t be repeated in different areas.
