It was a grief moment for the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Liberty Arena in Ekete waterside parish over the weekend when its area pastor, identified as Pastor Obaleme committed suicide at the popular Udu Bridge near Warri.

The respected pastor committed the suicide at the Bridge after he successfully drove himself to the bridge and parked on top of it.

And took a 20 liters gallon of fuel from the booths of his car and went down the bridge, while he poured the fuel on his body and set himself ablaze; before help could come, he had gave up the ghost. The said, pastor is from Edo State and married with children.

After impregnating the girl, who is a choir member, the pastor attempted to terminate the pregnancy but that the girl refused.

As soon as the parents of the girl were suspicious about the pregnancy of the girl, the pastor decided to take his life to avoid the shame, his status as not just a pastor but an area Pastor of a Parish.
